Discipleship

truth2

We can’t grow in power and love without discipleship.  Discipleship is practicing the disciplines that form us into Christ-likeness.  This involves learning how to have a devotional life of worship, prayer and scripture study.  The Bible, God’s breathed and written word to us, forms our understanding and practice as apprentices of Jesus.  The daily practice of presenting ourselves to God forms us into the kind of people who can represent him in authentic power and love.

None of this is done on our own.  In fact it takes courage to live this kind of life.  The courage, power, love and discipline all come from the Holy Spirit.  Living this way is the definition of what it means to be continually filled with the Spirit of God.  None of us does it perfectly but we believe it is the most worthwhile adventure to be on. And of course you are invited to walk with us in this adventure.
