The vision for The Firehouse Church is to plant churches in the Pacific Northwest and Western United States. The kind of churches we want to plant is inspired by Paul’s words to his disciple Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” We call this kind of church a three-legged stool church. A tripod, or three legged stool, is a balanced and stable structure. We believe the three legs of power, love and discipleship provide for a life giving and authentic church. We also believe these three legs truly demonstrate what it means to be filled with God’s Spirit and enables us to represent Jesus well to others.
